About this asset

This circular contemporary rug is a SketchUp model featuring a minimalist abstract line art pattern in black on a white fabric base. This circular rug showcases a clean, contemporary aesthetic defined by its bold, continuous black line drawing set against a soft white background. The pattern evokes a modern artistic sensibility, featuring fluid, interconnected shapes that suggest abstract human features or organic forms. Its circular silhouette provides a soft contrast to the rigid lines typically found in interior architecture. The texture is rendered to suggest a standard pile height suitable for residential or commercial lounge areas. The piece is presented as a singular, finished asset ready for integration into interior design schemes requiring a focal floor detail.

The download is a 55.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp asset, import the component into your project file and place it on the floor plane. The rug is mapped with a high-resolution texture that should be scaled to match the desired room dimensions. Utilize the native SketchUp material editor to adjust the diffuse and bump settings if required for specific render engine compatibility. Ensure the object is placed on a dedicated floor-covering layer to maintain model organization and ease of toggling during the design development phases.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern office breakout spaces, this rug serves as a striking focal point under coffee tables or in seating arrangements. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture, solid-colour upholstery, and natural wood flooring, adding visual interest without overwhelming the space. Professionals often search for this type of floor covering when specifying decorative accessories that bridge the gap between fine art and functional interior elements in contemporary design projects, particularly for high-end residential or hospitality fit-outs.
