About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a natural wood frame and beige fabric upholstery, providing a clean, versatile seating option. This armchair features a minimalist, open-frame design constructed from natural timber. The structure is defined by thin, rounded wooden members that form the legs, armrests, and backrest support, creating a light, airy silhouette. The seat is fitted with a simple, flat upholstered cushion, complemented by a matching square scatter cushion for the backrest. The neutral beige fabric contrasts subtly with the warm wood tones, making this piece suitable for a variety of interior schemes. Its compact footprint and refined joinery suggest a focus on functional, modern comfort for residential or light commercial environments.

The download is a 4.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single object with logical layer separation for the frame and upholstery. Users can easily adjust the fabric shaders or swap textures to match specific project palettes. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement within larger scenes. When integrating into a project, ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the legs for accurate positioning on floor planes. Standard material mapping allows for quick adjustments to the wood grain or textile weave scales.

This armchair is ideal for residential living rooms, reading nooks, or hotel lobby lounge areas. It pairs well with low-profile coffee tables or as an accent piece in home office settings. Designers frequently search for this type of versatile, neutral seating when specifying furniture for contemporary apartments or boutique hospitality projects. It serves as a reliable asset for visualising spaces that require a balanced, uncluttered aesthetic, fitting seamlessly into both minimalist and transitional interior design concepts where comfort and form are prioritized.
