About this asset

This contemporary armchair SketchUp model features a natural wood frame with cane webbing side panels and plush beige fabric upholstery. Defined by its clean lines and tactile material palette, this armchair pairs a structural timber frame with traditional cane webbing inserts on the back and sides. The seat is supported by a solid wood base, while the backrest includes a thick, loose cushion finished in a neutral, light beige fabric. The design balances a minimalist silhouette with organic textures, making it a versatile piece for various interior styles. The proportions are designed for comfort, featuring a slightly reclined backrest and wide, flat armrests that emphasize the natural wood grain and craftsmanship.

The download is a 12 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

This asset is provided as a native SketchUp file, organized with logical grouping for easy manipulation within the scene. Users can easily adjust the material mapping or swap textures on the seat cushions to suit specific project palettes. When integrating into a larger model, apply tags to separate the wood frame from the fabric components for better viewport performance. The geometry is clean, ensuring smooth rendering when paired with standard SketchUp-compatible plugins, allowing for precise placement in interior visualizations.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or quiet reading nooks, this armchair adds a warm, organic feel to any space. It works well in light-filled, airy interiors, complementing mid-century or japandi design schemes. Designers often specify this style for projects requiring a blend of comfort and natural materiality. Search for this piece when looking for lounge seating that incorporates cane or rattan details, or when sourcing accent furniture that pairs effectively with soft textures and wood accents.
