About this asset

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a glass-top table with a metallic base and six upholstered dining chairs. This dining set comprises a large, rounded rectangular table paired with six matching armchairs. The table features a tinted glass top supported by a solid, cylindrical metallic base in a warm, polished finish. Each chair is designed with a curved, wrap-around backrest upholstered in a neutral beige fabric, complemented by a plush, white seat cushion. The chair frames are constructed from slender metal, echoing the finish of the table base. Clean lines and a sophisticated material palette define this set, which includes a decorative glass vase as a central accessory for staging purposes.

The download is a 30.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max scene, use the merge command to import the objects into your active project. The model is organised by layers, allowing for easy selection of the table and chairs independently. Apply standard material assignments to the glass, metal, and fabric surfaces to ensure accurate reflections and highlights. Adjust the pivot points to the base of the objects for precise placement on floor planes. For optimal realism, ensure normal maps and textures are correctly mapped in your render setup.
