About this asset

This 3ds Max side table features a light natural wood finish with a distinctive fluted pedestal base and a glass vase accessory. This contemporary side table is defined by its clean, circular tabletop and a robust, cylindrical base composed of vertical fluted timber dowels. The light, natural wood grain is consistent across all surfaces, providing a warm, tactile aesthetic. Included in the set is a clear, cylindrical glass vase filled with lush, green foliage, adding a organic contrast to the structured geometry of the wood. The proportions are compact, making it suitable for use as an accent piece or a low-profile coffee table surface in a variety of interior settings.

The download is a 10.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to ensure easy management of the table and vase components. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement within your scene. Apply your preferred wood shaders to the table base and top, while utilising standard glass materials with appropriate refraction settings for the vase. The foliage is provided as a separate object, allowing for easy adjustment or replacement with other vegetation assets to suit specific project lighting and seasonal requirements.

This table is an ideal choice for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern cafe interiors where a minimalist, natural aesthetic is required. It pairs well with low-slung lounge chairs or as a bedside nightstand in a contemporary bedroom scheme. Designers often search for fluted furniture to add texture to neutral spaces, and this piece functions perfectly when rendered in close-up vignettes or wider interior shots. It is particularly effective for staging light, airy environments that focus on natural materials and biophilic design elements.
