About this asset

This modern kids storage shelving scene in SketchUp features two modular units with mixed wood and fabric bins for nursery organization. This storage set consists of two distinct shelving units, each featuring a grid-based compartmentalized structure finished in a clean white frame. The first unit incorporates light wood-toned drawer fronts with small circular pulls, while the second unit utilizes a mix of open shelving and fabric-lined storage bins featuring various geometric patterns. The design is tailored for children's spaces, balancing open display areas for books and toys with closed storage for clutter. Proportions are consistent with standard nursery furniture, providing a functional and visually cohesive solution for organizing playrooms or bedrooms effectively.

The download is a 110 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organized into components, allowing for easy placement and adjustment of individual bins or shelves. Users can quickly scale the units to fit specific wall recess dimensions or modify the material textures on the drawer fronts to match a project's specific palette. Standard layer management is recommended to separate the decorative objects, such as the toys and books, from the structural shelving components to improve viewport performance during the final stages of scene development.

These storage units are ideal for residential interior projects, specifically kids bedrooms, nurseries, and playrooms. They pair well with neutral-toned soft furnishings and light-coloured timber flooring. Architects and interior designers can utilize this asset when detailing custom joinery or specifying off-the-shelf storage solutions that require a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Professionals searching for nursery furniture, toy organization systems, or modular shelving for children's environments will find this asset highly versatile for both concept design and final presentation visualisations.
