Collection of Modern Wooden Cat Trees and Scratching Posts

This comprehensive set of modern wooden cat trees and scratching posts in SketchUp offers various climbing and play structures for interiors. This collection features twenty individual pet furniture components, primarily constructed from light-toned timber and natural sisal rope. The set includes multi-level cat trees with integrated platforms, enclosed hideaways, and vertical scratching towers, alongside smaller accessories like feeding bowls and a cactus-shaped scratcher. The designs range from minimalist floor-standing units to elaborate, multi-tiered towers with cut-out shapes and hanging elements. The variety in form, from geometric cubes to organic tree-like structures, provides a versatile range of options for populating pet-friendly residential spaces with functional, aesthetically cohesive elements that blend with contemporary interior design styles.

The download is a 55.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 20 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are best utilised as individual components within a larger residential scene. Users can import the entire set and explode the group to select specific items, or drag and drop individual assets into the project file. Due to the varied nature of the pieces, ensure they are placed on a dedicated furniture layer to manage model complexity. Applying custom textures to the wood surfaces can help unify the assets with the specific material palette of the wider interior design project.
