About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max set features a pleated taupe fabric lounge chair on a black swivel base paired with a matching side table. This set consists of a comfortable lounge chair and a compact side table. The chair is upholstered in a textured, taupe-coloured fabric with vertical pleating detail on the backrest and inner arms, providing a soft, tactile aesthetic. It sits on a slim, four-point black metal swivel base. Accompanying the seating is a small side table featuring a dark, organic-shaped top supported by a single central stem and a ribbed, cylindrical base in a complementary neutral tone. The proportions are balanced for relaxed seating areas, offering a cohesive look for modern interiors.

The download is an 11.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by object type for efficient scene management. Users can easily adjust the fabric textures or metal materials through the material editor to match specific project colour palettes. The swivel base is modelled as a separate component, allowing for rotation adjustments without affecting the upholstery geometry. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for easy placement on floor planes, and apply appropriate smoothing modifiers if required for closer camera angles in your architectural visualisations.

Ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and executive office breakout spaces, this lounge chair and side table set adds a sophisticated touch to seating arrangements. It works well when paired with minimalist rugs or contemporary floor lamps to define a quiet reading corner or a small conversation area. Professionals searching for accent seating or lounge furniture will find this model versatile for both residential and commercial projects, particularly where a warm, neutral palette and soft, textured surfaces are required for interior design.
