About this asset

This Oriental Zen garden 3ds Max scene features a tranquil rock pond surrounded by lush vegetation and stone pathways. Designed with a focus on traditional Japanese aesthetics, this landscape scene centres on a small, organic-shaped pond filled with water lilies. The perimeter is defined by irregular stone paving and dense, moss-like ground cover. Sculptural rock formations, reminiscent of scholar's stones, are arranged strategically to create depth and shadow, while mature bamboo and pine-like foliage provide vertical interest. A small stone lantern adds a traditional touch to the composition. The entire environment is captured in a soft, atmospheric light, suggesting a sunrise or sunset setting that enhances the textural qualities of the stone and plants.

The download is a 323 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Professionals can integrate this 3ds Max scene into larger site plans by merging the file directly into a master project. The scene is organised with logical layering, allowing for the adjustment of individual plant species or rock assets. Users should check the light setup and exposure settings upon opening to ensure consistency with their global project lighting. Mapping for the stone and water surfaces is pre-configured, making it straightforward to swap textures or adjust the reflection properties to match specific render engine requirements.
