About this asset

This SketchUp set of eight decorative oriental door handles in brushed brass features varied motifs suitable for traditional cabinetwork. This collection comprises eight distinct door handle and pull designs, each reflecting traditional oriental aesthetics. The set includes circular plates with intricate cloud and floral carvings, a butterfly-shaped pull, and a classic drop-handle design. Each piece is rendered in a brushed brass finish, providing a uniform metallic lustre across the varied geometric and organic forms. The handles range from simple, minimalist curved profiles to highly detailed, open-work patterns. These components are designed as paired sets, suitable for double-door applications, offering a cohesive yet stylistically diverse range of hardware for high-end cabinetry or interior doors.

The download is a 6.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 8 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can easily scale these objects to fit specific cabinet or door panel dimensions. Applying a high-quality metal material to the brass surfaces will ensure realistic light interaction in renders. It is recommended to place these on a dedicated 'Hardware' layer to allow for easy toggling during the design process, especially when presenting multiple hardware options to a client within the same model space.

These handles are ideal for custom joinery in residential projects, particularly within luxury interiors, dining rooms, or boutique hotel suites. They pair effectively with dark timber cabinetry, lacquered wood furniture, or traditional panelling. Interior designers and architects will find these useful when specifying hardware for altar cabinets, sideboard doors, or statement wardrobes. Search for these by terms such as traditional metal hardware, decorative door pulls, or bespoke oriental cabinet fittings when curating hardware schedules for high-end, culturally influenced design schemes.
