Japanese Light Wood TV Cabinet with Slatted Doors

This Japanese-style light wood TV cabinet, provided as a 3ds Max model, features slatted side doors and central storage drawers. This low-profile media console is defined by its clean, linear Japanese-inspired aesthetic and light wood finish. The unit features a central open shelf for media components, flanked by two lower drawers with small, dark hardware pulls. The outer sections are enclosed by vertical slatted doors, providing a textured, semi-transparent visual element that maintains a light, airy feel. The frame is supported by short, straight legs, maintaining a minimalist silhouette. This set includes a television and a small glass vase with yellow florals, adding a realistic scale to the composition.

The download is a 70.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy manipulation of the cabinet, television, and decorative accessories. Users can merge the file directly into a scene and adjust the wood material parameters to match specific interior lighting conditions. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement against wall panels or media walls. Ensure the pivot point is at the base for accurate floor-level alignment during the layout phase of the project.

Ideal for residential living room projects, this cabinet complements minimalist, Japandi, or contemporary interior designs. It serves as a focal point in media rooms, lounge areas, or bedrooms requiring refined, low-profile storage. Professionals searching for timber media consoles, slatted wood furniture, or Japanese-inspired storage solutions will find this asset versatile for architectural visualisation. It pairs well with neutral palettes, textured rugs, and indoor plants to create a calm, balanced environment, suitable for both high-end residential developments and boutique interior design schemes.
