Contemporary Black Metal Spiral Stair with Stone Treads

This contemporary spiral stair SketchUp model features a bold black metal structure and stone treads for a sculptural interior. This sculptural spiral staircase is defined by its sweeping, monolithic black metal balustrade that curls elegantly around the central axis. The treads are surfaced in a light-toned, possibly marble or engineered stone, providing a sharp contrast to the dark, opaque exterior casing. The design is fluid and continuous, omitting visible fasteners for a clean, minimalist silhouette. The stairs are presented within a curated interior scene that includes a decorative indoor tree and integrated floor lighting, suggesting a high-end lobby or luxury residential application where the staircase acts as a primary architectural focal point.

The download is a 31.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this SketchUp model into a project, use the component's base point to align it with the floor slab level. Because the geometry is complex, ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer or tag to manage visibility effectively. Users should check the face orientation to ensure proper texture mapping if applying custom materials to the treads. If the scene is heavy, consider simplifying the high-detail metal curves while keeping the primary structural form for background views to maintain viewport performance.

This stair is ideal for high-end residential foyers, luxury boutique retail spaces, or modern corporate lobby interiors where a strong visual statement is required. It pairs well with large-format stone flooring and minimalist lighting fixtures. Professionals searching for 'feature staircase', 'sculptural stair', or 'modern spiral stairs' will find this asset suitable for concept development, design development, and high-quality presentation renderings. It functions best as an internal circulation element that bridges two levels while serving as a piece of functional interior sculpture.
