The Department of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning (DADU) at the Università degli Studi di Sassari, located in the historic coastal city of Alghero, Sardinia, Italy, was established in 2002. Its strategic location near Alghero airport reflects a foundational international focus. The department thrives within Alghero's vibrant cultural landscape, a popular destination known for its beautiful beaches, coves, and significant cultural heritage. DADU offers comprehensive architectural education, including Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. The Master's curriculum aims to cultivate architects adept at complex design processes, building upon Bachelor's competencies. It adopts an interdisciplinary approach to architectural, urban, and territorial projects, integrating cultural, aesthetic, ethical, ecological, social, technical, and economic considerations.
