About this asset

A collection of 18 contemporary carpet textures for 3ds Max, featuring diverse geometric, organic, and abstract patterns. This collection comprises eighteen distinct carpet patterns, ranging from minimalist linear motifs and interlocking geometric grids to fluid, organic swirls and bold, artistic illustrations. The designs utilize a refined palette of greys, whites, and soft beiges, with occasional accents of mustard and blue. Each texture exhibits a subtle fabric pile quality, providing realistic depth suitable for high-end interior visualizations. The variety of styles ensures versatility, encompassing everything from structured, modern repeat patterns to expressive, one-off artistic rug designs that anchor living spaces or luxury hotel suites.

The download is a 59.7 MB compressed archive with the textures and a ready-made 3ds Max (.max) material library, so the maps arrive already assigned to materials you can drag onto your own geometry.

Professionals can integrate these textures into 3ds Max by applying them to plane primitives or custom geometry representing area rugs. The files are optimized for use within standard material editors, where users can adjust bump or displacement maps to simulate the tactile pile height of the carpets. When mapping, ensure UVW coordinates are scaled appropriately to match the desired room dimensions, allowing for seamless integration into architectural renders without visible tiling artifacts.

These carpet textures are ideal for architects and interior designers working on residential, hospitality, or high-end office projects. They are particularly effective for creating atmosphere in living rooms, bedroom suites, and hotel lobbies where a sophisticated floor finish is required. Use these assets to quickly populate scene mock-ups or final presentation renders, pairing them with modern furniture to complete the interior scheme. Designers often search for these under terms like textile floor finishes, rug maps, or contemporary carpet patterns.
