About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa 3ds Max model features a distinctive pleated backrest and rich brown velvet upholstery. Defined by a structured silhouette, this 3-seater sofa showcases a high, curved backrest finished with vertical pleating that wraps around the frame to form integrated armrests. The main seat cushion is a deep, singular bench-style unit, upholstered in a soft-touch brown velvet. A dark, contrasting base trim runs along the bottom, grounding the design. Two smaller, square scatter cushions in a charcoal grey velvet provide a textural and tonal contrast. The overall form is compact yet elegant, balancing decorative detailing with functional, clean-lined geometry suitable for modern interior compositions.

The download is a 3.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, use the native material editor to manage the velvet shaders, ensuring the falloff and reflection maps are correctly assigned for the desired sheen. The model is scaled for standard residential use; verify scene units before placement. Use standard layering conventions to separate the cushions from the main frame, allowing for easy adjustments to the composition or material overrides within your project's specific rendering environment.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms or sophisticated hotel lobby lounge areas, this sofa serves as a central focal point in refined interior schemes.
