About this asset

This 2K seamless PBR texture features a brown basketweave brick paving pattern, ideal for realistic exterior hardscape rendering. This PBR texture captures a classic basketweave brick paving pattern, characterised by rectangular units arranged in perpendicular pairs. The surface exhibits a muted, earthy brown tone with a rough, matte finish consistent with traditional clay brick pavers. Subtle variations in texture and minor edge weathering provide a realistic, aged appearance, while the narrow, recessed grout lines add depth to the overall composition. Spanning two metres by two metres in its native scale, the pattern repeats seamlessly, making it an effective choice for covering large exterior ground planes or urban pathways.

The download is a 82 MB compressed archive with the texture set at 2K with colour, normal, roughness, ambient occlusion and displacement maps, ready for any metal/roughness PBR workflow in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Unreal Engine or D5.

Users can apply this PBR texture by loading the provided albedo, roughness, and normal maps into their rendering engine's material node setup. The inclusion of displacement and ambient occlusion maps allows for enhanced depth and shadow definition on geometry. For users working in native formats, the pre-configured material files simplify the setup process, ensuring consistent PBR values. Scaling should be set to 2000mm by 2000mm to maintain the intended physical proportions of the brick units.

This material is well-suited for exterior architectural visualisations, including garden walkways, residential driveways, and urban plaza designs. It pairs effectively with natural timber elements, corten steel planters, or concrete retaining walls. Professionals working on landscape design or site planning will find this texture useful for establishing a grounded, tactile aesthetic in both high-end residential and public realm projects. Search for this asset when requiring robust, weathered brick surfaces that integrate easily into larger masterplan renders or detailed courtyard studies.
