About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a potted Ficus Elastica set within a minimalist black metal stand, ideal for adding greenery to interior scenes. The asset depicts a Ficus Elastica, commonly known as a rubber plant, featuring broad, deep green, glossy leaves with distinct veining. The plant is housed in a smooth, dark grey or black cylindrical container. This pot is supported by a slender, open-frame metal stand, which elevates the foliage to create a clean, modern aesthetic. The structure of the stand consists of thin vertical rods connected by a circular base, providing a lightweight and airy profile that complements the dense, organic form of the plant above. It is a well-proportioned decorative element.

The download is a 51.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured as a single object with logical grouping, allowing for easy placement within architectural interior scenes. Users can adjust the scale to suit specific room dimensions or modify the material parameters for the leaves and metal stand to match existing lighting conditions. It is recommended to check the pivot point at the base of the stand to facilitate precise snapping to the floor plane or furniture surfaces when populating a space with varied interior vegetation.

This potted plant is suited for residential living rooms, contemporary office reception areas, and boutique hotel lobbies. It serves as an effective filler for corners, beside sofas, or flanking entryways to soften architectural lines. Professionals looking for indoor greenery, floor plants, or decorative botanical accents will find this asset versatile for rendering high-end interiors. It pairs well with minimalist furniture and neutral colour palettes, helping to introduce natural textures into clean, modern design schemes during the final stages of visualisation.
