Zwartkops Straight Morning HDRI Environment Map

This 2K HDRI environment map features a clear morning sky over a race track straight, providing crisp sunlight and high-contrast shadows. The environment map captures a wide, open race track straight under a bright, cloudless morning sky. The scene features a smooth, dark asphalt surface with visible tyre marks, bordered by vibrant green grass verges and distant low-lying vegetation. The sun position creates strong, directional highlights across the track, emphasizing the texture of the tarmac and the geometric curve of the track edges. This high-dynamic-range file is designed to provide realistic global illumination and reflection data, ensuring that 3D assets placed within the scene interact naturally with the bright, overhead daylight conditions.

The download is a 6.1 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this HDRI, load the file into the environment slot of your rendering engine's world settings. Adjust the rotation to align the sun with your project's primary light source for consistent shadows. Since this is an equirectangular map, it will automatically map to the spherical background of your scene. For optimal results, ensure your camera exposure settings are configured to handle the high-contrast range of the morning sun without clipping the bright highlights.

This environment is ideal for automotive visualization, architectural renders featuring exterior infrastructure, or any project requiring high-contrast, clear-sky lighting. It pairs effectively with scenes involving asphalt, concrete, or metallic surfaces that benefit from distinct, sharp reflections. Professionals working on transport design, industrial site planning, or landscape architecture will find this useful for achieving realistic outdoor lighting setups. Search for this asset when needing a clean, bright, and realistic track environment for high-speed vehicle renders or open-air industrial site studies.
