Vignaioli Coastal Village Street HDRI Environment Map

Vignaioli is an equirectangular HDRI environment map featuring an overcast midday coastal village street for realistic 3D lighting. This environment map captures an authentic, narrow coastal village streetscape under a soft, overcast sky. The scene features dense, multi-storey Mediterranean-style residential architecture rendered in warm ochre, terracotta, and soft pink hues, complete with traditional green shutters and iron railings. A central perspective leads the eye down towards a small harbour inlet visible at the horizon. The lighting is diffuse and low-contrast, typical of an overcast day, which prevents harsh shadows and provides natural, balanced ambient illumination for 3D scenes requiring a realistic, lived-in exterior atmosphere.

The download is a 6.1 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Professionals can load this 2K HDR file directly into the environment or world lighting slot of any major rendering engine. Because it is an equirectangular projection, it provides 360-degree spherical coverage for realistic reflections and global illumination. Users should adjust the exposure and gamma settings within their render software to match the desired intensity of the ambient light, ensuring that the diffuse sky contributes properly to the indirect light bounces on the 3D geometry.

This environment is ideal for exterior architectural visualisations, urban design projects, or digital matte painting where a Mediterranean or European coastal context is required. It pairs well with residential models, street furniture, or vehicle renders that benefit from soft, natural daylight. Architects and visualisers searching for a realistic outdoor backdrop with high-quality ambient lighting will find this asset versatile for both mid-ground and background placement in scenes ranging from residential developments to hospitality projects set in historic or seaside locations.
