About this asset

Tiber 2 is an equirectangular 2K HDRI environment map capturing an autumnal Roman riverbank with soft afternoon sunlight. This environment map features a panoramic view of a riverbank path lined with mature trees showing autumnal foliage. The ground is covered in fallen leaves over a traditional cobblestone surface, flanked by high stone retaining walls. The scene is illuminated by natural, diffused afternoon light, creating gentle shadows and a realistic, temperate atmosphere. The composition includes a clear blue sky and distant architectural elements across the water, providing a balanced, natural backdrop suitable for architectural exterior visualisations that require a sense of historic urban context and seasonal warmth.

The download is a 6.7 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment map, load the.hdr file directly into your rendering engine's world or environment lighting slot. Because it is an equirectangular projection, it will map seamlessly onto a spherical dome. Use the rotation parameters in your software to align the sun position with your model's orientation, and adjust the intensity multiplier to match the exposure of your scene's interior or exterior lighting setup for optimal results.

Ideal for landscape architecture and exterior residential projects, this HDRI provides a authentic setting for renders requiring a European urban riverfront context. It pairs effectively with scenes featuring stone masonry, historic building facades, or park-like environments. Professionals working on site-specific visualisation or environmental integration will find this asset useful for achieving consistent global illumination and realistic reflections on glass and water surfaces. It is particularly suited for autumn-themed projects where natural light quality and seasonal vegetation are essential to the overall design intent.
