About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides realistic sunrise lighting for 3D scenes, featuring a grassy field and soft sky. The environment map captures a wide, open grassy field at sunrise, offering a balanced, natural lighting setup for architectural visualisation. The horizon line is defined by distant, low-lying woodland, while the sky displays a soft, golden sun position with wispy, partly cloudy formations. The colour palette is dominated by muted greens and earthy tones of the terrain, contrasted against the pale blues and warm yellows of the morning atmosphere. This high-dynamic-range image provides consistent ambient light, essential for generating physically accurate shadows and soft, diffused highlights on exterior or landscape architectural models.

The download is a 6.3 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Integrate this 2K HDR file directly into the environment or world lighting slot of your rendering engine. Because it is an equirectangular projection, it maps seamlessly onto a spherical background, providing both background visuals and global illumination. Adjust the exposure and rotation parameters within your software to align the sun position with your project's specific orientation, ensuring that the light intensity and shadow direction match your intended design time and atmosphere for the final output.

Ideal for landscape design visualisations, exterior residential renders, and rural site planning, this HDRI provides a versatile backdrop for projects situated in open, natural settings. It is well-suited for early-stage conceptual work where a soft, atmospheric light is required to showcase outdoor spaces or building massing. Use this map to ground your models in a realistic environment, pairing it with vegetation assets and natural materials to achieve a cohesive, professional presentation for client reviews or portfolio imagery.
