About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides realistic midday lighting for 3D scenes, featuring a sunlit tensile fabric canopy. The environment captures a bright, sunlit outdoor space defined by a series of white tensile fabric arches that create a rhythmic, sheltered walkway. The ground is finished in warm-toned paving stones, flanked by low stone retaining walls and vertical timber slat fencing. Lush green foliage and small garden beds occupy the central areas, adding organic texture to the structured architectural form. The lighting is crisp and clear, characteristic of a bright midday, casting soft, natural shadows that define the curved geometry of the fabric structure and the surrounding landscape features.

The download is a 6.6 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment into your rendering workflow, load the file into the environment or background slot of your chosen engine. Ensure the mapping is set to spherical or equirectangular to maintain proper projection. Adjust the exposure and rotation to align the sun position with your scene geometry, enabling the HDRI to provide both the background visual and the primary light source for realistic global illumination and reflections on materials within your 3D project.

This HDRI is ideal for exterior architectural visualisations, particularly for residential garden designs, public parks, or hospitality venues featuring outdoor event spaces. It pairs effectively with projects requiring a bright, natural ambiance and high-quality light distribution. Professionals searching for outdoor environmental maps for landscape architecture, site planning, or exterior rendering will find this asset useful for establishing a cohesive sense of place and time. It works well in scenes requiring a clean, contemporary aesthetic with a balance of structural design and soft, natural greenery.
