About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides neutral, soft studio lighting from an infinity cove with professional softboxes. Captured within a clean, white infinity cove, this environment map features a balanced, soft-light setup suitable for high-fidelity rendering. The scene includes two primary light sources: a large octagonal softbox and a rectangular panel light on a stand, both creating gentle, diffused highlights. The background is a seamless white cyclorama wall that ensures minimal color contamination and consistent ambient illumination. This setup is specifically designed to provide realistic reflections and soft shadows on subjects, making it an essential tool for achieving professional-grade lighting results in 3D product visualizations or character lookdev.

The download is a 5.2 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To utilize this HDRI, load the.hdr file into your renderer's environment or dome light slot. It is recommended to adjust the exposure and intensity settings within your software to match the scale of your scene. Because this map contains high-dynamic-range data, it will effectively drive both the global illumination and the specular reflections on metallic or glossy surfaces. Ensure your project's color management is set to linear workflow to maintain the integrity of the light values captured.

Ideal for product photography simulations, commercial rendering, and automotive visualization, this environment map integrates seamlessly into any project requiring controlled, clean studio aesthetics. It pairs perfectly with furniture design, consumer electronics, or portrait assets that need soft, flattering illumination. Professionals often search for this type of asset when they need a neutral background that does not distract from the subject. Use it in residential or commercial design portfolios to showcase individual models with the precision of a controlled, professional photography studio setting.
