About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides a clear mid-morning sky with high-contrast sunlight for natural scene illumination. This HDRI environment map captures a clear, unobstructed mid-morning sky, defined by a bright, high-altitude sun and a soft, uniform blue gradient. The image provides a clean, neutral horizon line with minimal atmospheric haze, facilitating sharp, directional shadows and consistent ambient lighting. The colour palette is dominated by deep azure and cool sky-blue tones, transitioning to a bright, near-white solar disc. Designed for high-fidelity rendering, this file ensures accurate light distribution and realistic reflections for architectural visualisations that require a bright, daylight aesthetic without complex cloud formations or horizon obstructions.

The download is a 4.2 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Professionals can load this file directly into the environment or world lighting slot of any major rendering engine, such as V-Ray, Corona, or Octane. It functions as a primary light source, providing both diffuse ambient light and direct sunlight. Users should adjust the rotation to align the sun disc with their project's intended light direction and tweak the exposure settings to achieve the desired intensity for interior or exterior scenes, ensuring proper soft-shadow casting and global illumination.

This environment map is ideal for daylight-focused architectural visualisations, particularly for residential and hospitality projects where a clean, bright, and optimistic atmosphere is required. It pairs effectively with modern minimalist designs and open-plan interiors where natural light is a key feature. Architects and visualisers searching for clear-day lighting, high-contrast sunlight, or neutral daylight backgrounds will find this asset essential for achieving realistic sun-path simulations and balanced, crisp lighting conditions across various project stages, from initial concept renders to final marketing imagery.
