About this asset

This 2K high-dynamic-range environment map provides realistic morning lighting and reflections for exterior architectural renders. Captured in a rural field setting, this HDRI environment map features a clear, crisp morning sky with a low-hanging sun. The image provides a full 360-degree spherical projection, ensuring consistent illumination and high-fidelity reflections across all surfaces in a scene. The lighting profile is characterised by soft, directional sunlight and long shadows, typical of early day conditions. Included with the map are three reference spheres—chrome, matte grey, and glossy blue—which allow for immediate visual verification of light intensity, colour temperature, and specular response within any standard rendering engine or 3D software package.

The download is an 8.8 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this map, load the file into the environment or background slot of your rendering software. Adjust the rotation to align the sun with your project's desired orientation and tweak the exposure settings to match your scene's scale. Because the map contains high-dynamic-range data, it will automatically handle both primary illumination and secondary reflections, eliminating the need for additional artificial light sources to achieve a natural, cohesive look in your exterior visualisations.

This asset is ideal for residential exterior projects or landscape visualisations where a peaceful, early-morning atmosphere is required. It pairs well with suburban housing developments, rural garden designs, or open-field architectural concepts. Professionals looking for natural lighting, realistic sun positioning, and accurate environment reflections will find this map highly effective for achieving professional-grade results. It is suitable for use during all project stages, from initial massing studies to final high-resolution renders, ensuring a consistent lighting environment across multiple views.
