About this asset

This minimalist 3ds Max TV cabinet features a clean two-tier design with a crisp white frame and contrasting walnut-brown drawer fronts. Defined by its low-profile, linear aesthetic, this TV cabinet consists of two stacked horizontal surfaces separated by a recessed storage section. The main structure is finished in a matte white, which provides a neutral frame for the central bank of three wood-grain drawers. The walnut-toned fronts add warmth and textural depth to the composition, while the open ends of the unit offer additional display space. The design avoids unnecessary ornamentation, focusing instead on the interplay between the stark white horizontal planes and the rich, horizontal grain of the walnut timber used for the storage elements.

The download is a 9.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the object is properly scaled to the room dimensions before applying scene-specific materials. The drawers and frame are typically grouped, allowing for easy placement or modification of the material IDs if a different wood finish is required. For optimal lighting results, use an HDRI environment map to capture the subtle reflections on the white surfaces, and ensure the unit is placed on a flat plane to maintain its clean, horizontal alignment within the interior.

This media console is well-suited for contemporary living rooms, home cinema spaces, or minimalist apartment interiors where clean lines are prioritized. It pairs effectively with large-format screens, low-slung modular sofas, and neutral-toned wall treatments.
