Greenwich Park Outdoor HDRI Environment Map

This Greenwich Park HDRI environment map provides realistic natural morning lighting and a crisp outdoor backdrop for 3D renders. Captured in a public park, this high-dynamic-range equirectangular map features a gentle grassy slope leading toward a treeline and distant hilltop architecture. The scene is illuminated by natural, partly cloudy morning light, casting soft yet distinct shadows that define the terrain's topography. The composition captures a wide, open perspective ideal for exterior scene integration, maintaining a balance between the lush green foreground and the expansive, light-filled sky. It offers a consistent, neutral lighting profile that avoids harsh artificial colour casts, ensuring that the illumination remains physically grounded and suitable for architectural visualisation.

The download is a 6.7 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this.hdr file directly into the environment slot of your rendering engine's world settings. Use the rotation parameters to align the sun position with your model's orientation, ensuring that the highlighted sky area matches your project's desired lighting angle. Because this map contains high-dynamic-range data, it effectively manages global illumination and reflections without requiring additional light sources, though you may need to adjust the exposure settings to achieve the correct brightness levels for your specific scene's camera parameters.
