About this asset

This 2K high-dynamic-range environment map provides realistic midday lighting and reflections for exterior architectural renders. The environment map captures a clear, expansive day sky over a rural field landscape. It features a bright, natural sun position that provides consistent directional lighting and soft shadows. The dynamic range preserves the luminosity of the sky and the subtle textures of the agricultural terrain, ensuring accurate light distribution across 3D surfaces. The capture includes a full 360-degree field of view, making it suitable for wide-angle exterior shots where environmental reflections are essential for visual integration. The asset provides a balanced, neutral daylight profile that works well for various architectural daylighting studies.

The download is a 10.1 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this HDRI into the environment or background slot of your rendering engine to establish global illumination. The high-dynamic-range data allows for automatic light intensity and shadow softness adjustment based on the sun's position. It is best practice to align the rotation of the map with the primary light source in your scene to ensure that reflections and shadows match the background plate, providing a seamless transition between the 3D geometry and the environmental context.

This environment is well-suited for exterior visualization of residential projects, landscape designs, or rural architecture where a natural, open-sky setting is required. It pairs effectively with grass, vegetation, and natural stone materials, as the lighting profile enhances these textures. Architects and visualisers often use this type of asset for midday daylighting analysis and final high-quality presentation renders. It is a reliable choice when a clean, bright, and realistic outdoor atmosphere is needed to ground a project in a believable, sunny site context.
