About this asset

Day Environment HDRI 052 is a 2K high-dynamic-range environment map featuring an overcast urban park setting for realistic lighting. This 2K high-dynamic-range environment map captures a soft, diffused daylight scene within an urban park. The panoramic plate features modern residential architecture with tiered balconies, gravel pathways, and mature landscaping. The lighting is consistent with a bright, overcast day, providing neutral shadows and even illumination across the 360-degree field. Included in the composition are three reference spheres—chrome, matte white, and glossy blue—which allow for accurate assessment of light intensity, colour temperature, and reflection characteristics when integrated into a 3D rendering pipeline for architectural visualization projects.

The download is a 10 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

This asset is designed for use as a primary light source in standard 3D rendering engines. Load the map into the environment or dome light slot to achieve global illumination and accurate reflections simultaneously. Because the lighting and background are captured in a single, high-dynamic-range file, no additional light rigs are required to match the ambient mood. Users should adjust the exposure and gamma settings within their render engine to suit the specific brightness levels of their project.

Ideal for architectural exterior visualizations, this HDRI provides a realistic backdrop for residential developments and urban planning projects. It works effectively for mid-day scenes where soft, non-directional light is preferred to avoid harsh shadows. It pairs well with modern building designs, landscape architecture, and pedestrian-focused site plans. Professionals searching for daylight environment maps will find this useful for exterior lighting studies, site context integration, and general architectural rendering where a natural, overcast sky and a contemporary urban environment are required.
