Day Environment HDRI 046

Day Environment HDRI 046 is a 2K high-dynamic-range environment map providing realistic daylight illumination for 3D architectural scenes. This high-dynamic-range image captures an exterior urban courtyard setting during a clear, bright day. The environment features a paved ground plane surrounded by peripheral buildings with graffiti-marked walls and surrounding mature trees. The lighting profile is defined by a high-noon sun position, casting crisp, directional shadows and providing high-contrast illumination. The spherical projection ensures full 360-degree coverage, delivering consistent ambient light and sharp reflections for 3D objects placed within the virtual space. The capture includes reference spheres to ensure colour accuracy and light intensity calibration during the final rendering process in any professional engine.

The download is a 9.8 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this HDRI file into the world environment slot of your preferred rendering engine to establish immediate global illumination. It functions as the primary light source, eliminating the need for complex artificial rigs while ensuring that reflections on metallic or glossy surfaces match the surrounding environment. Adjust the exposure and rotation parameters within your software to align the sun position with your model’s orientation, ensuring that the shadows cast by the environment map are consistent with the geometry of your architectural project.
