About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides a soft pink sunrise over a coastal road, featuring rocky hills and greenery. Captured at a coastal location, this environment map features a winding asphalt road flanked by a prominent, textured rocky cliff face and low-lying coastal vegetation. The lighting is characteristic of a soft sunrise, with delicate pink and purple hues diffused across a partly cloudy sky. The scene offers medium-contrast illumination, ideal for achieving realistic ambient lighting in exterior renders. Subtle reflections of the horizon are visible, providing natural highlights for metallic or glass surfaces. The composition is well-balanced, presenting a clear, expansive view of the terrain that integrates seamlessly into wide-angle architectural visualisations.

The download is a 6.3 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this HDRI, load the file into the environment slot of your rendering engine's world settings. Align the map's horizon with your 3D scene's ground plane to ensure accurate light distribution. Because the file is provided in a standard equirectangular format, it is compatible with most professional renderers. Adjust the exposure or intensity settings within your software to match the desired daylight mood, and consider rotating the map to position the sunrise light source for optimal shadow casting.

This environment map is suited for exterior architectural visualisations, particularly for residential or hospitality projects located in coastal or rural settings. It pairs effectively with modern minimalist structures or rugged, vernacular architecture that benefits from natural, soft-light conditions. Professionals searching for a serene, early-morning atmosphere will find this asset useful for creating depth and realistic global illumination. It is a reliable choice for setting the mood in landscape design presentations and outdoor lifestyle imagery, providing a consistent, high-quality backdrop for diverse project scales.
