Coastal Parking Lot HDRI Environment Map

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides soft, cool, foggy sunrise lighting for rendering coastal outdoor scenes. Captured at a coastal parking lot during a foggy sunrise, this HDRI environment map features low-contrast, diffused natural lighting. The scene includes a paved asphalt surface, a central patch of dry earth, and distant residential buildings set against a misty horizon. A subtle warm glow emanates from the sun breaking through the overcast sky, offering realistic ambient illumination. The spherical projection provides a 360-degree environment suitable for placing 3D models into a realistic, muted exterior setting. The lighting profile is ideal for architectural visualisations requiring a calm, early-morning atmosphere with minimal harsh shadows.

The download is a 5.4 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this asset, load the.hdr file into the environment or background slot of your rendering software. Adjust the rotation to align the soft sunrise glow with your primary light source or camera angle. Because the lighting is low-contrast and diffuse, it integrates well with secondary interior or exterior lighting setups. Ensure your render settings are configured for high-dynamic-range input to capture the subtle light transitions across the asphalt and sky.

This environment map is well-suited for exterior architectural visualisations, urban planning projects, and automotive renders requiring a realistic coastal context. It pairs effectively with modern residential or commercial buildings located near the shoreline. Professionals searching for natural morning light, overcast sky conditions, or coastal parking lot backgrounds will find this asset versatile for various daylight rendering scenarios. It is particularly useful for establishing a quiet, atmospheric mood in early-stage project presentations or final exterior renders where high-contrast sunlight is not desired.
