About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides a sunset urban scene with a bridge, featuring warm golden-hour lighting. This high-dynamic-range image captures an urban bridge perspective during a dramatic sunset. The scene features a concrete balustrade in the foreground with a sweeping view of a road stretching into the distance. The sky is filled with a dynamic mix of heavy, dark clouds and clear patches where the setting sun creates a warm, low-angle light. The composition offers a balanced mix of natural and man-made elements, providing realistic reflections and accurate light distribution for architectural visualisations that require a specific, late-afternoon atmosphere and natural-looking environmental light.

The download is a 6.2 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To utilise this 2K equirectangular map, load the.hdr file into the environment slot of your chosen rendering engine. Adjust the exposure value or rotation to align the sun position with your scene geometry. The map provides both the background plate and the primary lighting contribution, ensuring that specular reflections and shadows on your 3D models match the golden-hour sky conditions captured in the original panorama, effectively simulating real-world lighting conditions without additional light sources.

This environment map is ideal for exterior architectural renders that require a realistic urban setting during the golden hour. It works effectively for bridge infrastructure projects, road design visualisations, or any residential and commercial exterior scenes seeking a dramatic, atmospheric backdrop. Professionals can use this to quickly establish consistent lighting and reflection environments for dusk or evening exterior shots. It pairs well with concrete, asphalt, and modern urban architectural materials, providing a convincing, high-quality background for mid-to-long-range camera angles in professional AEC projects.
