Boma Covered Outdoor Cafe HDRI Environment Map

Boma is a 2K equirectangular HDRI environment map featuring a rustic covered cafe interior with warm natural daylighting. This environment map captures a semi-open, covered cafe space defined by a vaulted timber rafter ceiling and exposed brickwork. The scene is furnished with several wooden picnic-style benches arranged across a paved concrete floor. Architectural details include arched openings that allow natural light to filter into the space, creating soft, diffused shadows. The interior is decorated with strings of colourful bunting, adding a casual, festive atmosphere. The lighting profile is balanced for daytime, providing consistent illumination that reflects the warm tones of the timber and the textured brick surfaces.

The download is a 6.6 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment map, load the.hdr file into the background or environment slot of your rendering engine. Ensure the mapping is set to spherical or environment mode to maintain the correct projection. Because the map contains high-dynamic-range data, it will automatically drive global illumination, soft shadows, and reflections in your scene. Adjust the exposure or intensity settings within your software to match the light levels of your specific project requirements, ensuring seamless integration with your 3D assets.

This environment is ideal for visualisations requiring a relaxed, semi-outdoor hospitality setting, such as covered terraces, garden cafes, or event spaces. It pairs effectively with scenes featuring rustic furniture, timber structures, or casual social areas. Professionals can use this map to establish a quick, realistic lighting foundation for exterior-facing interior renders. Search for this asset when working on hospitality projects, community centre designs, or outdoor social space concepts where a warm, inviting, and naturally lit atmosphere is required for client presentations.
