This classic double-hung window Revit family features an upper transom light and a detailed five-piece exterior trim profile. A vertically proportioned sash unit features a fixed rectangular transom above dual operational sashes. Divided lite muntins configure the transom into three glazed lights, while both the upper and lower sashes display a six-lite grid pattern. Detailed architectural casing surrounds the aperture, comprising vertical side jambs, an articulated sill with sub-sill apron, and an overhanging head lintel with cap moulding. Surfaces are finished in neutral off-white framing with transparent glazing panels.
The download is a 594 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Supplied as an RFA family, the component inserts directly into standard Revit wall hosts, automatically creating the necessary wall cutout. Users can adjust sill height, manage standard visual styles from hidden line to shaded, and modify material assignments for framing, casing, and glazing within the type and instance properties.
Ideal for external facade elevations in traditional residential developments, suburban villas, townhouses, and boutique country hotels. This unit coordinates smoothly with lap siding, masonry cavity walls, and brickwork facades, serving standard architectural documentation schedules and presentation elevations.
