The window assembly combines a classic rectangular timber surround with an integrated single louvered shutter panel hinged to the exterior jamb. Robust external architrave trims frame the perimeter, accented by flared horns at the head profile and projecting sill supports below. Inside the outer casing, stepped mouldings encase a rectangular timber sash holding a single clear pane of glazing. The adjacent shutter features tightly spaced horizontal louvres within a square stile-and-rail leaf, modelled in an open position against the facade plane.
