About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max scene features a rectangular walnut and metal work desk complete with task lighting and decorative accessories. The primary element is a wide rectangular work desk featuring a rich walnut-finished top supported by distinctive black metal legs, one of which includes a perforated circular pattern. The set is presented as a fully curated workspace, incorporating a sculptural chair with a circular backrest, a small turned-leg timber stool, and a pleated fabric ottoman. Desktop accessories include a slim black task lamp, a stack of books, a laptop, and a ceramic bowl with fruit. The composition balances linear wooden textures with sharp metal accents and organic decorative elements.

The download is a 33.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Professionals can integrate this 3ds Max scene by merging the file into an existing project environment. The model is structured with logical grouping for simple selection and repositioning of individual assets. Users should verify material assignments upon import to ensure proper reflection and bump mapping on the walnut surfaces. Lighting should be adjusted to complement the existing scene's ambient setup, potentially using an HDRI or local area lights to enhance the material contrast between the dark metal and the natural timber.

This desk scene is ideal for residential home office visualizations, executive suites, or contemporary creative studios. Its curated aesthetic provides an immediate sense of lived-in quality for project renders, pairing well with minimalist shelving or large-format wall art. Architects and designers searching for a complete workspace solution will find this set useful for demonstrating scale and functionality in floor plans. It serves as an effective focal point for interior design presentations focusing on high-end, functional, and well-appointed professional or personal working environments.
