This Revit family features a vertical stacked awning combination window with divided lites and exterior casing, modelled after the Kolbe Ultra Series. The assembly features a two-tier vertical configuration structured within a unified outer frame and perimeter casing. A taller upper glazed sash sits directly over a compact lower sash, establishing an asymmetrical stacked composition. Both sashes incorporate colonial-style simulated divided lites arranged in two rows of three panes each. Muted grey exterior cladding defines the head, jambs, and intermediate mullion, creating contrast against the cream sash profiles and clear insulating glass units. Precise profile reliefs articulate the brickmould trim and operable sash reveals for realistic architectural elevation display.
The download is a 1.3 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Designed as a wall-hosted Revit family, the component automatically creates clean wall cutouts across various exterior compound wall assemblies. Users can place the unit into plan views and coordinate head heights or sill elevations directly in project sections. Material parameter channels enable custom assignment of exterior cladding colours, interior finishes, and glass shaders to suit construction documents, schedules, and visualization rendering pipelines.
This window combination is well suited for custom residential residences, country homes, craftsman facades, and boutique hospitality lodges. The divided-lite pattern coordinates seamlessly with living rooms, dining alcoves, stair halls, and master suites requiring tall vertical fenestration. Architects incorporate stacked awning windows to combine fixed-glazing appearance with flexible lower ventilation openings across detailed facade drawings and exterior presentation elevations.
