About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max bar stool features a green velvet upholstered shell with button tufting and tapered black wooden legs. Defined by a rounded, semi-circular backrest, this bar stool offers a sophisticated profile with a deep green velvet upholstery. The seat back is accented with subtle button-tufting, adding a classic touch to its otherwise modern form. The frame consists of four slender, tapered legs finished in a matte black, which are reinforced by a curved brass-toned metal footrest. Each leg terminates in a metallic cap, providing a refined transition to the floor. The proportions are balanced for high-counter applications, ensuring both ergonomic comfort and a sleek visual presence in any interior.

The download is a 1.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection and material adjustments. Users should check the pivot point at the base for accurate placement on floor planes. The velvet material uses standard shaders that can be easily swapped for custom PBR setups. Since the model is a single object, it is best merged into scenes as a group or block to maintain scene hierarchy and simplify global scaling adjustments during the final interior visualisation process.

Ideal for upscale residential kitchens, home bars, or boutique hospitality environments, this stool integrates seamlessly into high-end design schemes. It pairs effectively with marble-topped kitchen islands or sleek, dark-toned bar counters. Designers often specify this piece for projects requiring a touch of luxury, such as cocktail lounges, hotel lobby bars, or chic dining spaces.
