About this asset

This contemporary lounge chair 3ds Max model features a distinctive houndstooth fabric upholstery and a curved, elegant silhouette. Defined by its organic, curved profile, this lounge chair features a striking black and white houndstooth fabric on the interior seat and backrest. The exterior shell is finished in a contrasting solid grey fabric, creating a layered aesthetic. The piece rests on four slender, tapered dark wood legs that provide a refined, elevated stance. The deep, rounded seat cushion and wrap-around backrest offer a supportive, ergonomic form factor, making it an ideal choice for residential lounge areas or boutique hotel suites where a balance of pattern and clean lines is required.

To integrate this asset, merge the model into your 3ds Max scene and apply your preferred material shaders to the base geometry. The object is organised with logical pivot points at the floor level for easy placement. Check the UV mapping of the houndstooth texture to ensure alignment across the curved surfaces, and adjust the material reflection settings to match your scene lighting. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient sub-division if higher smoothing is needed for close-up renders.

This armchair functions perfectly as a focal accent piece in modern living rooms, quiet reading nooks, or sophisticated hotel lobbies. It pairs well with minimalist side tables or floor lamps, adding a textured, graphic element to neutral interior schemes. Professionals often search for this type of patterned seating when looking to break up solid-colour palettes in residential or commercial design projects. Its compact footprint ensures versatility, fitting seamlessly into both residential apartments and larger open-plan hospitality environments requiring stylish, comfortable guest seating.
