Elliptical Direct Set Window – Kolbe Ultra Series

Traditional elliptical direct set window Revit family featuring a curved glazed transom with exterior profiled casing and integrated sub-sill. Modelled with an elongated elliptical profile, this fixed direct set window unit reproduces classic fenestration geometry. The unit comprises an uninterrupted curved glazed pane surrounded by a layered sash profile, stepped head casing, and a continuous horizontal bottom rail and sill. Proportions follow standard transom dimensions intended to match the width of companion double-hung windows. Exterior framing profiles convey accurate reveal depths and mouldings suitable for classical elevations. Material designations define separate exterior cladding and interior glazing surfaces, ensuring realistic shadow lines and geometric definition across both orthogonal elevations and axonometric presentations.

The download is a 502 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Delivered as an RFA component, this wall-hosted family automatically cuts host wall geometry upon placement. Insert the unit directly into facade walls above vertical sash assemblies or as an independent accent opening. Elevation controls allow precise alignment of the bottom sill with adjacent window lintels. Material parameters accommodate finish coordination across exterior cladding and glazing types within standard Revit project schedules and realistic rendering engines.
