Contemporary Black Leather Curved 3-Seater Sofa

This contemporary 3-seater sofa is a 3ds Max asset featuring a sleek, curved silhouette upholstered in smooth black leather. Defined by its fluid, organic geometry, this 3-seater sofa prioritises a clean, minimalist aesthetic. The continuous backrest transitions seamlessly into integrated low armrests, creating a cohesive, wraparound form that anchors a space. The upholstery is finished in a uniform black leather, highlighting the deliberate, sweeping curves of the frame. Its low-profile design and generous seating depth provide a balanced, grounded presence. The absence of traditional legs or visible structural elements enhances the monolithic appearance, making it a strong focal point for modern interiors that value understated, sophisticated design language.

The download is a 10.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max model into your scene, ensure the pivot point is aligned with the floor plane for accurate placement. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient mapping of reflection settings to capture the leather sheen. Use the layer manager to isolate the upholstery from any internal structural components if custom material adjustments are required. Standard lighting setups, such as a subtle HDRI environment, will effectively highlight the curved contours and material surface properties without requiring complex shader overrides.
