About this asset

Box bay window Revit family featuring a projecting tripartite front glazing layout with glazed return panels and an integrated head cap. This projecting box bay unit is detailed with a three-panel primary front elevation flanked by glazed side returns. The front arrangement comprises a central fixed pane bordered by two flanking casement-style sashes set within crisp white frames. An integrated top soffit and an extended projecting sill frame the entire assembly, providing clear physical separation from the exterior host wall. The side return panels maximise daylight penetration from multiple angles. Clean outer trims and defined sash profiles create sharp shadow lines suitable for architectural elevations.

The download is a 399 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this native RFA file directly into your Revit project environment and insert it into any standard exterior wall assembly. As a wall-hosted window family, it automatically generates the required wall cut and opening. Verify rough opening dimensions, adjust head and sill heights relative to floor levels, and map project-specific glass, vinyl, or painted timber materials across the host parameters.

Commonly specified for residential architecture, townhouses, and suburban housing renovations, this bay window serves living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and dining nooks where extended outward sightlines are required. Its protruding silhouette adds articulation to flat facades and creates an interior ledge ideal for window seats or display surfaces. Designers searching for projecting window families, garden windows, or tripartite bay units can deploy this component across schematic design through tender documentation.
