About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a grey fabric curved sectional sofa set paired with a matching cylindrical stone coffee table. This large-scale seating arrangement comprises two symmetrical curved sofa sections that form a semi-circular footprint, complemented by a central drum-shaped coffee table. The upholstery is a neutral grey fabric, featuring vertical channel stitching along the backrest for subtle texture. The set is accessorised with a variety of scatter cushions in solid yellow, teal, and patterned monochrome fabrics, adding visual interest to the minimalist silhouette. The cylindrical stone coffee table features a fluted base design, providing a solid, grounded centrepiece that mirrors the curvature of the surrounding seating modules.

The download is a 34 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is best utilised by importing the component directly into your master scene file. Ensure the geometry is placed on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during the modelling process. You can easily adjust the material mapping on the fabric surfaces to match your specific interior palette. For high-quality visualisations, apply appropriate reflection and bump maps to the stone table surface to enhance the realism of the fluted detailing when rendering with your preferred engine.

Ideal for spacious living rooms, grand entrance lobbies, or hotel lounges, this sectional sofa provides a striking focal point for conversational seating areas. It pairs effectively with large-format rugs and circular floor plans, making it a versatile choice for luxury residential projects or high-end commercial hospitality spaces. Designers often search for curved seating or modular lounge sets to break up rigid, rectilinear room layouts. This asset is well-suited for mid-to-late stage design development where detailed furniture layouts are required for client presentations.
