About this asset

Designed for architectural glazing assemblies, this quarter-circle Revit family window features a stepped outer casing and curved fixed glazing. This window family represents a quarter-circle specialty unit with a curved upper profile and orthogonal lower and vertical edges. The exterior frame showcases stepped perimeter brickmould casing detailed with multiple subtle shadow lines. Inward from the primary frame, an offset inner sash profile holds a single glazed pane. Rendered with pale sage-grey framing, an off-white inner sash border, and translucent blue glazing, the assembly captures authentic millwork proportions typical of clad-wood or aluminium-clad architectural fenestration, providing clean definition in both shaded elevation views and line-based drawing graphics.

The download is a 553 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this Revit family directly into project templates or active models to insert into host walls or compound glazing arrangements. As standard practice with geometric specialty windows, verify wall opening cuts, sill heights, and alignment against adjacent double-hung or casement units. Frame and glass materials can be assigned via family type or instance parameters to coordinate render appearances across interior and exterior elevations.

Tailored for traditional, transitional, and colonial residential schemes, this quarter-round unit serves effectively in gable ends, stair landings, clerestories, or mulled atop standard rectangular assemblies to form full semi-circular or fanlight features. It suits custom single-family homes, heritage renovations, and boutique hospitality facades. Architects frequently search for arched transom windows, radius top glazing, quarter-round Revit families, and clad-wood specialty sash units when detailing distinctive building elevations and scheduling custom window packages.
