About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a pair of minimalist concrete planters housing tall cacti, adding a clean, architectural touch to interiors. The set comprises two rectangular, vertical planters finished in a raw, grey concrete texture. Each container holds a different variety of cactus, providing a contrast in height and organic form. The larger planter features a branching, columnar cactus, while the shorter one contains a cluster of slender, upright stems. The proportions are strictly geometric, balancing the soft, irregular silhouettes of the desert plants with the rigid, industrial aesthetic of the concrete housing. This pairing offers a versatile, modern decorative element suitable for accentuating corners, entrance halls, or minimalist living spaces.

The download is an 11.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, insert these assets as individual blocks or as a grouped set to maintain the intended arrangement. Ensure the scale is verified against your project units, as these planters are typically sized for floor placement. Apply standard material overrides if necessary to adjust the concrete reflectivity, and use a proxy or instance if duplicating these across a large-scale project to keep the viewport performance smooth and manageable during the rendering process.

These planters are ideal for high-end residential interiors, contemporary office lobbies, and boutique retail showrooms where a touch of greenery is required without the maintenance of live plants. They sit well beside minimalist lounge furniture, modern reception desks, or within contemporary dining spaces. Search for these when specifying desert-inspired decor, industrial interior accents, or architectural greenery in projects requiring a sharp, clean aesthetic. They provide a refined, low-maintenance solution for adding texture and life to sterile or overly neutral environments.
