About this asset

This modern hallway storage unit for SketchUp features an integrated bench, closed cabinets, and open shelving with lighting. This floor-to-ceiling storage assembly combines closed cabinetry with an open central seating alcove and vertical shelving. The structure features a clean, minimalist aesthetic with matte white door fronts contrasted against light natural wood grain internals. The central section incorporates a padded bench seat, a vertical slatted back panel, and a recessed mirror. LED strip lighting is integrated into the shelving and bench recesses to provide ambient illumination. The right-hand column offers open display niches, while the left side provides substantial concealed storage for footwear and outerwear, creating a cohesive, functional entrance solution.

The download is a 181 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups and components for easy placement and scaling. Users should manage the geometry using tags to toggle the visibility of the internal lighting and decor elements. The materials are applied with standard mapping, allowing for quick adjustments to the wood grain or paint finish. To optimise performance in large scenes, consider purging unused components and materials after importing this assembly into your project file.

This storage unit is ideal for contemporary residential entrance halls, mudrooms, or apartment foyers where space-saving multi-functionality is required. It pairs effectively with modern interior schemes featuring neutral palettes and natural textures. Designers often search for this type of joinery when planning high-end residential renovations, compact urban living solutions, or custom built-in furniture designs. It serves as a comprehensive focal point for interior visualisations, providing both aesthetic structure and practical storage capacity for shoes, coats, and decorative objects.
