About this asset

Modern open laptop Revit family featuring a contrasting silver chassis, integrated trackpad, and dark widescreen display for detailed workstation fit-outs. Modelled in an open clamshell position, the unit comprises a slim silver-grey lower body and an upright dark display panel. The base incorporates a recessed keyboard well with black chiclet-style keys, distinct white keycap typography, and a dedicated numeric pad, alongside an integrated off-centre trackpad. Side edge profiles display simplified peripheral port indentations. A broad black bezel surrounds the widescreen aspect ratio matte display, completed with embossed branding along the bottom border. Matte finish materials give the chassis a clean anodised aluminium or moulded plastic appearance.

The download is a 1.3 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Loaded as an RFA component family into Autodesk Revit projects, this specialty equipment element places directly onto desk surfaces, countertops, or workstation joinery. Users can adjust orientation using spacebar rotation before setting elevation offsets to match custom desk heights. Material definitions for the casing, screen, and keyboard can be tailored via family parameters to match interior visualisation palettes.

Ideal for corporate office fit-outs, hot-desking layouts, university computer labs, library study carrels, and modern residential study spaces. The asset pairs seamlessly with task seating, cable grommets, monitor risers, and executive office desks. Designers frequently specify this item when searching for workplace technology props, BIM desk accessories, portable PC models, and office specialty equipment to bring realistic human scale to interior floor plans and renderings.
