About this asset

This contemporary armless lounge chair is a 3ds Max model featuring olive green fabric upholstery and a patterned accent cushion. This armless lounge chair presents a clean, blocky silhouette defined by soft, rounded edges and a deep, comfortable seat profile. The piece is fully upholstered in a solid olive green fabric, providing a tactile, matte finish that emphasizes its compact, sculptural form. Included with the chair is a single square scatter cushion, finished in a contrasting black and white houndstooth pattern, which adds a subtle visual texture. The lack of armrests gives the chair a versatile, open appearance, making it suitable for tight corners or as part of a larger modular seating arrangement.

The download is a 21.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is typically managed by importing the asset into your scene via the merge command. The geometry is organized into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the chair and the cushion independently. Ensure the unit scale is set correctly before placement. Materials are applied using standard mapping coordinates; users can easily swap the fabric texture or adjust the diffuse color of the upholstery to match specific interior color palettes while maintaining the existing mesh topology and UV layout.

This piece is ideal for modern residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or quiet reading nooks where space is at a premium. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables or as an accent seating option in a bedroom suite. Professionals searching for compact lounge seating or armless accent chairs will find this model useful for populating interior visualizations. It works well within contemporary, eclectic, or transitional design schemes, particularly when used to introduce a bold, organic pop of colour to a neutral space.
