The download is a 1.2 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this family is typically hosted on a floor face, allowing for easy placement within custom shower layouts. Users can adjust the length of the channel to match specific tile dimensions or shower widths. The family includes necessary connection points for standard plumbing pipework, facilitating accurate documentation within MEP models. Once placed, designers can apply custom materials to the floor surface around the drain to ensure seamless integration within the overall bathroom finish schedule and floor build-up details.
